A Uniquely Jewish Disease
Have you ever met a Christian who said, “I was born and raised Christian, but I’m now an atheist. However, no matter what happens to me, and even though I don’t believe or practice, I will always be a Christian”? Of course you haven’t, because it doesn’t exist. A Christian who believes is a Christian. If they don’t believe, they’re not, and that’s it. There’s a uniquely Jewish disease called Emunah, faith. No matter how far a Jew might be. No matter how much they don’t believe. No matter how irreligious or anti-religious they are, a Jew will always be a Jew. You don’t need to believe me for this.
